Spring Is Near !!!

This is my favorite trench at the moment. This trench coat has been my recent favorite because it goes with everything. It's lightweight and is comfortable and has a perfect length. 

Love my converse they give the look the perfect finish. Dirty and all :)) hey I use them all the time !!!

Loving the sunny days in the city ☀️

Loving the sunny days in the city. It allows me to go out and explore.  Sunny days allows me to bring out my high waisted shorts, crop tops, and of course the always so classic converse. Crop tops can be tough to wear at times but for the most part they are wearable when you have the high waisted shorts they just go perfect together.  Converse are a must have in my closet they never go out of style. Converse keep the look cute and super cool. 

I get inspired by cool locations, by art, and people that helps me explore my style. 

I'm ready for spring!! I am so ready to add some pop of color to my wardrobe and wear some beautiful colors.

Using a heart shaped cutter, cut a heart in a slice of bread. Spread 1 1/2 tbs. peanut butter on a second slice of bread and top with 2tsp. Jam. Place the bread with the heart cutout over the jam and voilà a heartfelt recipe.

Currently obsessed with distressed jeans!!

I love the distressed look because they add edge to any look. You can dress them up by adding a nice top or pair them with a blazer or dress them down with a tshirt and chucks either way you will look super cool in them. Here are some steps on how to get the distress look with do it your self tips. What you will need: a pair of jeans, scissors, pen, and tweezers. STEP 1: Put the jeans on and mark where you want the holes to be with a pen.  I usually aim for the upper knees or right on the knees. STEP 2: Take jeans off and cut where marks are with scissors.  STEP 3: Pull on the threads using tweezers. STEP 4: Throw the jeans in the washer and then put them in the dryer. This will help the jeans look like they've been distressed naturally.

When people think of the Central Valley, the first thought that comes to mind is produce. Yes, the Central Valley does feed the rest of the nation and I’m super proud to be part of it. My interest lies elsewhere though. FASHION. I’ve been exposed to fashion since I was very young. My moms subscriptions to fashion magazines such as Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Rolling Stone and Vogue just to name a few as well as fashion shows have exposed me to fashion at a very young age. Fashion has always intrigued me. While others express their feelings, thoughts and/or creativity through art, painting or drawing, I have learned that I can express my creativity through fashion. Yes, fashion. I have used fashion to express my creativity and also as a way to communicate to others of whom I am. Which now leads to who I am ~ My name is Zahara and I’m a tween who sleeps, breaths and eats fashion. Everywhere I go my imagination runs wild and allows me to create a new outfit. As a young girl I look up to many fashion icons, but my favorite fashion icons are Selena Gomez, Lauren Conrad and Jessica Alba. My favorite designers are Rachel Zoe, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Donatella Versace. I look up to powerful woman after all who runs this world??? GIRLS!!!
